Lucas was on the news a few times last Wednesday after the Right to Read campaign.  Here is the link to the BBC snippet.

 

We went to lobby our MP at Westminster.  Two local families travelled to London, but our local MP didn't show up, even though he responded to one of the two letters saying he would.  He is a Tory mind so I wasn't too surprised!  Thankfully our MP from where we used to live (Annette Brooke MP - Lucas again) said she would meet us, and did - even though she had broken her hip less than a week before the lobby!

 

We had a good day regardless and Lucas had a chance to meet up with his Grandpop, which was more important to him than hanging around a Medieval hall at Westminster.
